Why does the world love Apple products?
So I'm a PC. You know in the commercials I am that dude standing opposite of Justin Long. Been a Windows boy since 1995 so you can understand my confusion with the world's obsession with Apple products. I get the iPod. I own one so I get it. Its a great device and improves with each update. But what about the Macs and iPads? I've own PC laptops my entire life and really never got into the tablet phase until recently. I really like the Samsung Galaxy (DROID) and was considering purchasing one. As fate would have it I now find myself in the possession of Macbook Pro and an iPad (Gen 1). After using both devices for about 2 weeks here is how I feel so far..... still confused.
So in order to ge the full Mac experience I decided to make the Macbook my main system for itunes. I copied all my music, videos, pics, etc from the pc to the mac and started getting busy. So far, not impressed. I dont see the hype. Its a pc with a slightly different interface. Mind you I did have to use Google to find out how to do things here and there but again I don't see anything that makes the Mac experience any different or better than the PC thus far. I am sure Da Man will point out a plethora of features I have yet to discover but up until that happens I have to say that the world's Mac obessision is basically buying into the hype of Apple.
So I synched up my iPad with iTunes and started going at it. So far again I am unimpressed. Its basically what I always thought it was.... a giant iPod. I haven't found anything it does that my current iPod doesn't. I can play the same games, music, videos and run the same apps. Granted its a bigger screen but does it merit shelling out all that extra cash for a bigger screen? I think not. I mean I was able to bash D.S. in Infinity Blade on a iPod while he was on a iPad.
This past summer I ran into the elusive Riley Freeman. I noticed his cell phone and asked "No iPhone?" to which he responded "iPhone?? iPhones are overrated. FU J-Rod". I couldn't agree with him more (Not the FU part).

OK, I'M RELOADED!!

1st order of business, applaud J-Rod for holding the spot down while I was away.
2nd order of business, fire J-Rod for holding the spot down while I was away.
I take one little "break" to deal with the 9-5 and this is what I get? Our show renamed? To "JUST J-ROD!!!!!" none the less?? Though in all fairness, I would expect nothing less than "writing me off the show" from J-Rod. It's why we started this show, he thinks he's better than me...
Don't fault him though, it's been a rough week for J-Rod and his fans:
He posted about me not having HBO (Got it. Watched S1 & 2 of "How To Make It...". "Boardwalk" here we go...).
He went 0-2 in the "Lock It In" picks (I forgot how GOOD 0-7 Miami was <put your sarcasm meters on people>).
Almost got sonned by Sponge Mitch Spooge Pants.
"Locked In" the Giants to beat the Pats (WOW) and will jinx my 9ers at the Skins this Sunday (though, that 9ers chick lets me run a spread offense and go deep).
Posted the Top 10 QBs in the NFL through W8 (FTR, ANY list that has Romo on it is discredited).
Then the kicker... impregnated wifey and made a shirt about it?? (That is purely a joke and he knows I would never wish pregnancy on him, LOL).
Rough ass week indeed.
But, my dear friends all is right with the world once more. I am here. Thou divine intervention. Thou savior. Thou (Da) Man.

NFL Week 9 "LOCK IT IN" Picks of the Week
So I was 0 for 2 in my LOCK IT IN segment for Week 8. I am guaranteeing a bounce back this week. D.S. has tied me in our football pool and that is something I can not allow.

The Giants are coming off a sluggish win over the Miami Dolphins. With that said Eli continues to put up big numbers. The Pats are the Pats but they have a weak secondary. I expect this game to be a shoot out with the Giants just edging the Pats.
Final Score: Giants 33 Partiots 30
San Francisco 49ers at Washington Redskins
Just this week I told Da Man that the 49ers were pretenders while the Giants are contenders. Of course I said this to just antagonize him. Unfortunately he know thats and just pretty much ignored me. I think the 9ers are legit and I am looking for them to beat up on Da Skiiiiiiinzzzzz. You're welcome for the above image.
